Delivery and Shipping
General shipping information:
Products and animals are shipped entirely via the shipping company DHL.
After you have placed your order, the order will be shipped the following day (There may be exceptions when shipping animals). Immediately after your package has been handed over to DHL, you will receive a tracking number.
The shipment of animals and plants:
Shrimp, snails and plants are always shipped in styrofoam boxes. This is to avoid temperature fluctuations during transport. In winter, especially when the temperature is below 10°C, heatpacks are included. The animals and plants are double packed to avoid leakage.

We recommend sending animals and plants through express mail. This minimizes the likelihood of animals and plants dying. However, normal shipping is also possible and so far we have had very few accidents with normal shipping of animals.
Delivery and delivery time:
Please note that the shipping company is responsible for keeping the package safe during delivery. Pay attention to the external condition of the package when it is delivered, and refuse the package if necessary.

The products are handed over to DHL Monday to Friday and the package usually arrives 2 to 3 working days later.
The animals are handed over to DHL only from Monday to Wednesday. This is to avoid the animals staying with DHL over the weekend, which could cause problems.
Delivery to Packstation:
In cases where nobody is at home during delivery, the package is usually forwarded to a parcel station. Please avoid such situations as the parcel stations can be very cold in winter and very hot in summer. This could cause damage to the products/animals. Unfortunately, our shipping insurance cannot take into account in such cases.
Handling animals and plants after delivery:
Please note that the customer is responsible for the safe acclimatization of the animals and plants after delivery.
Please do not keep the animals and plants in the packaging after delivery, and put the animals and plants in suitable aquariums as soon as possible.

Our insurance covers the death of animals on delivery, but unfortunately not the death of animals after delivery. We thank you for your understanding.
